If you deal with the issue in the moment or at the first opportunity, it won’t keep irritating you in the future:

- someone or something is stressing you out, and you don’t plan to interact with them / it in the future – create distance as soon as you notice the stress.;
- harm from interacting with someone you want to keep seeing or may still see again – say what is unacceptable to you;
- because a high level of stress made you more sensitive to things that normally would not bother you – so in future choices, try to take the risk of stress into account more carefully.
