1. No one chooses:
- what predisposition they will have
(what will be liked or disliked, and to what extent);- the conditions they will be born into;
- what will happen to them later and how those events will affect them.

Action isn’t initiative, action is a reaction to a change in circumstances.
3. What we call choice is, in practice, working out which option we perceive, based on our experience, as the one that will improve our state the most.
