How I perceive information from the outside:

1. If I cannot check someone’s conclusion because I do not have the necessary context, I do not support it, but I do not reject it either. For example, I will not use examples from media, science, economics, and so on as an argument, because I do not know the context deeply enough to check everything through my own logic from start to finish.

2. If I can logically explain why something does not work for me, then no matter how common the conviction is, and no matter how many years people have treated it as “right,” I will still stick to my own opinion.

3. If I agree with information from the outside, it means I can explain in detail why I support this position.

That is, first of all, I carefully analyze my own opinion and, when needed, compare it with other people’s views, but in the end, I make decisions based on my own analysis.

Because everyone sees the world in their own way + no one knows the truth.

So, following someone or something is like people in different cities trying to get to a grocery store using a navigation app that only shows Tokyo. Meaning, the drivers will face some level of difficulty, even though the idea of a grocery store exists in almost every city, along with many other common things.

But if the drivers relied on their own perception – on their understanding of the unique reality they live in – then these difficulties: pain, stress, loss of time, energy, and other resources – could be avoided completely.

In other words, science, media, philosophy, statements by public figures, parents’ advice, and so on – no information from the outside can be perceived by a person as a constructive conviction until they have explained to themselves why it deserves to become their anchor. Otherwise, a person puts the quality of their future at great risk.

As long as a person’s actions do not break the principle of personal reality (they do not cross their own or other people’s boundaries).
I’m glad and appreciate that I have what brings me +impressions, but:
- losing it does not determine how well I will feel in the long term;
- I don’t hold on to it until the very end – as soon as I notice that it is making my state worse, I stop engaging with it.
- People close to you may realize something new about themselves, and that may lead to the end of the relationship.
- The circumstances that once made it possible for you to have a certain status, possession, hobby, etc. can also change.

That is why there is no point in relying on this from the start, because by doing so, you put yourself at risk of experiencing a lot of pain at a very unexpected moment in the future.
